Three Peaks Challenge - 6th July 2019
Eight Tigers are taking on the Three Peaks Challenge
It’s now less than a week until our Tigers embark on the National Three Peaks Challenge. As the date fast arrives the training regimes have stepped up, the weight has been dropping off and the early morning gym sessions are not feeling quite so alien, all in anticipation for the big day.
We are aiming to raise over £5,000 for charities that are very close to our hearts here at Tiger. Very sadly, both Brian Hoadley, Tiger Chairman and Amanda Shannon, beloved wife of John, our Commercial Director, died in 2016 after 12 months+ battling Grade 4 GBM brain tumours.
To commemorate and celebrate these dear friends, partners and loved ones, eight crazy Tigers will attempt to ascend the Three National Peaks within a 24-hour period, raising money for The Brain Tumour Charity (1150054) and Innercycle (1179976). Raising money for these amazing charities will only spur us on to complete this challenge.
We hope you will assist us in our endeavour, donate to our cause, and help us reach our goals. All donations, no matter how small, are gratefully received.

About the Three Peaks
With a total trekking time of 15 hours or less, we’ll climb around 3064 metres (10,052 ft), and have walked approx. 23 miles (37km). The total driving distance is 462 miles. It’s no wonder this charity challenge is the most highly regarded trekking challenge in the UK!
We travel to Fort William on the Friday, starting with Ben Nevis on the Saturday morning, climb Scafell Pike that night and finish Snowdon on Sunday in Wales. This is a tough event and we are all getting physically and mentally prepared to do this with limited to no sleep!
Feeling generous, jealous or just relieved it's not you taking part? you can make a donation on the Tiger Three Peaks Challenge Virgin Giving page, all of us here at Tiger would greatly appreciate it.
We know that money can be tight, so please know that even £5 helps us get closer to the goal.
